TuttoFood 2025: Celebrating the Success of Italian Food

The 2025 edition of TuttoFood Milano officially opened this morning, heralding a new model designed to serve the Italian and international agri-food sectors. This inaugural event, born from a collaboration between Fiere di Parma, Fiera Milano, and Koelnmesse, will run until May 8 and features participation from key industry stakeholders and institutional representatives. A significant focus of this year’s fair is the integration of TuttoFood and Cibus, aimed at enhancing regional value and bolstering global competitiveness.

A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH TO GROWTH

The partnership between Fiere di Parma, Fiera Milano, and Koelnmesse was a central theme in the opening remarks. Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, described all this as a testament to Italy’s “system success,” driven by the vision of stakeholders, government backing from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests. He highlighted the active participation of the supply chain and businesses, alongside a decade-long partnership with Cologne. The biennial collaboration between Parma and Cologne encompasses 350,000 square meters of exhibition space, featuring nearly 15,000 companies.

SUPPORTING EXPORTS AND INSTITUTIONAL ENGAGEMENT

The inauguration was graced by Italy’s Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida, who characterized the Italian agri-food sector as “a structured system with growing exports, active in traditional and emerging markets.” He emphasized that the unification of the trade show systems in Parma and Milan enhances the visibility of high-quality Italian products to a diverse array of buyers.

Matteo Zoppas, President of the Italian Trade Agency, reiterated the ambitious goal of increasing the value of Italian agri-food exports from €69 billion to €100 billion in the near term. He noted that since 2019, Italian food exports have surged by 30%, despite a challenging global landscape.
