Almost 10,000 complaints and queries were handled by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland’s (FSAI) advice line in 2025.
According to FSAI, there were 6,135 complaints from consumers, with 33 percent relating to unfit food and 28 percent to poor hygiene standards.
