Italy will be the Partner Country of the upcoming 7th edition of Summer Fancy Food 2025 in New York, marking a key milestone for the international promotion of Italian food. On this special occasion, the Italian Food Awards USA will take center stage as the only b2b event entirely dedicated to Italian food products.
The awards will welcome top buyers, importers, and distributors of Italian brands, offering a unique platform to spotlight excellence and innovation in the sector. This important presence and initiative have been made possible thanks to the outstanding support and organization of Universal Marketing, whose strategic work continues to elevate the visibility and global reach of Italy’s agri-food industry.
The event will culminate in an Awards Ceremony on June 29 featuring a curated agenda focused on emerging global food trends, and will welcome a distinguished audience of winning brands, international guests, and expert jurors.

The three finalist products in each category will be displayed in the Italian Pavilion during the Summer Fancy Food Show 2025.
Evaluation Process
A total of 42 Italian products, launched in the last two years across retail and foodservice channels in the U.S., have been selected for consideration. The final ranking is based on a two-phase assessment:
1) Expert jury (70%): an international panel of top-tier retailers, chefs, and foodservice professionals evaluates the nominees and casts their votes.
2) Sales performance (30%): the remaining portion of the score is determined by U.S. market sales data, analyzed in collaboration with NIQ.
The Jury of Experts
Ten professionals from the international food business community will be called upon to express their preferences: chefs, retailers, restaurateurs, importers, and distributors from all over the world will be part of the special Jury of Experts.
