Crai Showcases Innovation and Excellence on the International Stage

Italy’s retailer Crai has entered 2025 with a firm commitment to innovation and product excellence, marking its presence at two of the most prestigious global events in the retail and private label sector.

The Italian retailer participated in the European Private Label Awards (EPLA), hosted by European Supermarket Magazine in Dublin, which recognises Europe’s most distinctive private label products for innovation, presentation, and taste.

It also took part in the PLMA “World of Private Label International Trade Show” in Amsterdam – the sector’s leading global fair, drawing buyers, retailers, and industry professionals from more than 70 countries.

This year, Crai announced with pride that it secured first place at EPLA 2025 with its Lobster Ravioli from the La Rosa dei Gusti line – a premium offering featuring a delicately sweet filling encased in fresh pasta made with free-range eggs.

At the PLMA 2025, Crai earned further distinction, reaching the podium with three products emblematic of the brand’s values and dedication to quality:

Crai Oat Drink with Vitamin D3, commended in the Plant-Based Beverages category for its innovative formulation and nutritional profile, is designed to support daily well-being.

Crai Farma Pure Aloe Vera Juice, recognised in the Health & Wellness category as a natural supplement aiding the body’s detoxifying processes.

Saffron Risotto from La Rosa dei Gusti, awarded in the Italian Food category for its flavour profile, high-quality ingredients, and strong premium positioning.

In the EPLA 2025 finals, Crai also presented several other standout products from its La Rosa dei Gusti range – including Wagyu Bresaola, Sicilian Pistachio Pesto, and Almond Drink – as well as innovations under the broader Crai brand, such as Chickpea Pasta and Fruit & Seed Protein Granola from the Crai PROTEico line.
