Agrisicilia Brings Sicilian Citrus Marmalades to Rewe Stores

Agrisicilia, the Sicilian company specializing in citrus processing and known for its premium marmalades, has secured shelf space at Rewe, one of Germany’s largest supermarket chains. The move marks a strategic step in the company’s international expansion, as Germany continues to emerge as one of its most promising growth markets.

The initial rollout includes the company’s flagship citrus marmalades — among them Arancia Rossa di Sicilia PGI, Limone di Sicilia, Mandarino di Sicilia, and a Sicilian Citrus Mix — now available in Rewe stores.

The Rewe listing comes as Agrisicilia posts a sharp increase in export turnover. In the first half of 2025, the company recorded €7.6 million in total sales, a 199% increase compared with the same period in 2024 (€2.55 million). Exports now account for nearly all of its 2024 full-year export revenues, with just 7% remaining to surpass that benchmark.

Growth has been led by the spreadable creams category, which rose 273.8% year-on-year to €6.66 million. Citrus marmalades, the company’s core product line, also saw solid growth of 33.1%, underscoring their strong performance outside Italy.

The entry into Rewe is not only a recognition of the quality of our products, which are well received abroad, but also a key accelerator for Agrisicilia’s European presence,” said Sofia Mammana, sole director of the company. “We will continue to invest in export markets, with the goal of bringing Made in Sicily to tables around the world.”
