Italian Food Awards 2025: nominations now open

Following the successful edition of the Italian Food Awards USA 2025 held in New York, Italianfood.net is proud to announce that nominations are now officially open for the 10th edition of the Italian Food Awards 2025, set to take place this October during Anuga 2025 in Cologne.

Organized by Italianfood.net, the international project of Gruppo Food, the awards celebrate the most iconic Italian food & beverage products currently available on the European market, shining a spotlight on the companies that best represent the excellence and innovation of Made in Italy.

This year’s edition introduces a significant update: there is no limit on the product’s launch year. Companies are now free to nominate both their flagship products and their most distinctive lines, regardless of the year they were launched, as long as they are distributed through retail or food service channels in Europe.

Additionally, a dedicated space will be reserved for future releases. Products that will be launched between July 2, 2025 and July 2, 2026 can compete under the special “Future Excellence” category, highlighting the ongoing evolution and potential of Italian food innovation.

The winners will be announced during the official Italian Food Awards ceremony at Anuga 2025, offering an exclusive platform to enhance international visibility in front of key buyers, distributors, and professionals from across the global food community. Anuga 2025 will be held in Cologne from October 4th to 8th, once again confirming its role as one of the world’s leading trade shows for the food and beverage industry.
