Afghani Corn Bread “Doda” recalled because of undeclared sesame and wheat

Ariana Sweets Inc. of Fremont, CA, is recalling its Afghani Corn Bread “Doda” manufactured prior to April 24, 2025, because it may contain undeclared sesame and wheat. These allergens pose a serious or life-threatening risk to individuals with sesame or wheat allergies or sensitivities.

The recall was initiated after a routine FDA inspection revealed that the product, which contains sesame and wheat, was distributed in packaging that did not disclose these allergens.

Distribution: Retail locations in California

No illnesses have been reported as of the posting of this recall.

Consumers with sesame or wheat allergies are urged not to consume the product and should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
