Ukraine shares outbreak data and reports deadly botulism cases

Ukraine recorded 31 outbreaks in the first half of this year including 19 botulism cases and two deaths.

Data from the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection shows that in the first six months of 2026, 31 outbreaks were registered in 11 regions and Kyiv, with the most in the Mykolaiv region with 10. Of 287 people ill, 207 were children.
