Chinese controls cannot guarantee that poultry meat sent to Europe comes from the only approved province, according to an audit report.
The Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG Sante) audit in November 2025 evaluated the official controls related to public health and certification systems for rabbit and poultry meat.
